Things I've built on the side.

Talkthru

A feedback loop for coding agents, built while working on Astroshort. Screen-record your app on your phone or Mac and talk while you use it: "this button is too small, I keep missing it." A watcher on your machine transcribes what you said, pairs each comment with the screen you were looking at, and hands both to your coding agent over MCP, so it can find the components and fix them without you typing a bug report. Runs entirely on your machine: no accounts, no uploads, no API keys. Open source, on npm.

Astroshort

An educational solar-system explorer for iOS and the web, built together with my kid. Fly between the planets, step inside real places on Earth, Mars, and the Moon, and meet Sagittarius A*, the real black hole at the center of our galaxy, from the 2022 Event Horizon Telescope image. Every fact is sourced from NASA, JPL, and ESA, and a warm narrator reads it all aloud so even pre-readers can explore on their own. Fully offline, free, no ads, no accounts, no tracking. Currently on TestFlight, with an App Store submission in progress.

Cosmic Dipole Test

The sequel to the Hawking points experiment and the biggest Claude Code research run so far: over twenty sessions testing whether the sky is more lopsided than our motion through space can explain, across three different surveys. Every rule was written down before looking at the data. Two surveys agreed and earned a "promising, but unproven" verdict; the third round closed unclassified after injection tests showed the survey's own clean-up step erases real signal. An independent review agent re-checked every published number before release.

Hawking Points Search

An experiment to test how far Claude Code can go as a research engine: a pre-registered, reproducible search for Hawking points, a signature predicted by Penrose's Conformal Cyclic Cosmology, in real Planck and ACT cosmic-microwave-background data, built and run with Claude Code under my direction. It ended in a clean null, and the process caught and corrected its own 12-sigma false alarm along the way.
